Just to the north lies the Yorkshire Dales National Park with the famous Three Peaks, and the Lake District is less than an hour’s drive away with spectacular lakes and mountains. The Forest of Bowland , an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', stretches away to the south and offers unspoilt landscapes and visitor facilities. This is an ideal location for exploring beautiful open countryside and for enjoying fine walks, cycle rides, horse riding and magnificent scenic motoring. The small market town of Bentham is just 3½ miles away catering for everyday needs with shops, banks, pubs, take-aways, cafe, golf course and art gallery.
