Nestling in an elevated setting on a hillside farm and surrounded by stunning scenery across Sabden Valley towards Pendle Hill in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Approached along a well maintained farm track, The Boskins dates back to the 1700s and has been converted to offer a charming cottage, retaining original feature beams, underfloor heating, a wood burning stove for cooler days and complemented with contemporary furnishings of a very good standard, it is the perfect getaway at any time. The private patio is ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet or al fresco dining and there is a traditional wood-fired hot tub for those relaxing moments. The sheep and lambs in the spring graze the fields with walks directly from the cottage across countryside and woodland. The area offers plenty of opportunity for enjoyment such as walking and cycling, Pendle Ski club dry slopes and the challenge of Pendle Hill is just a few minutes away. The village of Sabden is less than a mile away where there is a general store, pubs and a tearoom. Clitheroe has an impressive ancient castle and the village of Whalley a historic abbey. Both offer individual shops and quality restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The market towns of Settle and Skipton, the Yorkshire Dales, Lakes and West Coast are within easy driving distance.
