Ribblesdale is one of the larger dales, running from Ribblehead in the north, to the market town of Settle in the south - with its colourful market stalls and quirky bookshops, passing between the high fells of Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent (two of the Three Peaks) on its way south.
