Nestling in the picturesque hamlet of Simonstone in Upper Wensleydale, this traditional 1800s stone cottage is cosy and full of character with an open fire and south facing garden. Shaw Ghyll Woods, The Pennine Way and the "Buttertubs Pass" are close by, with walks from the door to suit both the rambler and serious walker. The market town of Hawes (two miles) has a range of shops, craft centres, inns, restaurants and the famous Wensleydale Cheese Visitor Centre. Simonstone has a hotel serving excellent meals.
