Walks start from the doorstep along pretty country lanes leading to the open fields and fells, with the Dales Way close by. Grassington has an array of high quality individual shops, character inns, restaurants and tearooms and is host to several annual cultural events. Burnsall and Bolton Abbey offer pretty riverside walks and picnic areas, with the attractive market town of Skipton a 15 minute drive away.
